Collector's Edition key/aura question - Guild Wars Forums

With the preorder keys it is the case that if you register them after you already have a charater in the game, then that character doesn't get the special items; you have to create a new character in order to get the preorder bonus(es) for him.

What about the Collector's Edition key? I will get my Collector's Edition only next week but would like to play today. However, if am forced to create a new character in order to get the Aura from the Collector's Edition key then I won't bother playing much today.

Anybody knows how will it work?

I played in the BWE and had 2 pre-order copies.

When I un/ reinstalled last night I still had the pre-order key active with no collectors ed stuff working.

From the registration page there is an account management and an ability to "Add Keys"

Once this is done you have the aura's I never deleted my BWE characters and now have the aura...

Great, thanks. So I don't have to worry and can play today and enjoy the game knowing the Divine Aura will count towards my existing characters once I register the Collector's Edition key next week
